The Halton Amateur Radio Club provides our Community with free radio communication services for some of the activities in the area. These services help ensure both the participants' and the public's safety and convenience by providing reliable communications across the venue regardless of scale or terrain. The Club also holds a NET every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM on the 2 Metre repeater VE3OD, 147.135. The focus of this NET for for local ARES purposes, however, any topic of interest to members of the Club is welcomed, if brought to the attention of the Net controller. The Halton Regional Emergency Communications Team (HRECT) also holds a NET on Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM on the VE3ADT repeater 444.125 MHz + offset. |
